PRIMS 2025.10 Release

PRIMS October update is live, bringing another round of meaningful improvements that strengthen data integrity, user experience, and regulatory foresight. The latest development cycle continues to enhance how cosmetic regulatory and safety professionals manage portfolio compliance with precision and speed.

Sharper visibility into future compliance

PRIMS now offers a more intuitive and detailed Future Analysis view. Products marked with coloured triangles are easier to interpret – clearly distinguishing between substances that will fail future conditions, those subject to new usage criteria, and those already meeting upcoming rules. This empowers formulators and safety assessors to anticipate reformulations long before new restrictions take effect.

Future compliance indicators are also reflected in brand-level portfolio reports, which show both current and forecasted non-compliance, enabling a proactive approach to portfolio management.

Improved allergen and IFRA documentation tracking

To help users keep fragrance documentation complete and traceable, PRIMS now includes two targeted reports:

  • Missing IFRA 51st Documentation Report, ensuring alignment with current IFRA guidance.
  • Missing Allergens 2023/1545 Report, supporting EU Regulation 2023/1545 compliance — with clear visibility on products and raw materials requiring the extended allergen list ahead of the August 2026 deadline.

Allergen input has also been reorganized into a single alphabetical list for faster entry and review.

CPSR and toxicological traceability

Appendix I of the Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) now includes literature references for all toxicological data(Systemic Tox, CIR, NESIL). The addition improves transparency and reinforces traceability across assessments. This structured referencing system is being rolled out in phases to ensure every data point carries its corresponding scientific source.

And more…

PRIMS users can now:

  • Search substances also by European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances (EINECS) number for faster data retrieval.
  • Filter compliance exports to exclude discontinued products, focusing only on active items in the portfolio.
  • Default working region under user settings – an efficiency boost for global teams operating in multiple markets.
  • Authorized users can now create and manage Brands directly within the Admin environment, making portfolio structuring more autonomous.
  • Make use of the interface refinements, such as clearer notifications, improved message visibility in the Info Center, and column alignment across modules, further simplify day-to-day operations.
